Find yourself staring at a bag of frozen brussel sprouts in your freezer? Why not toss those sprouts into your air fryer. It’s the easiest way to get delicious roasted brussel sprouts without the hassle of thawing or dealing with messy veggie prep. Also it’s healthier than traditional frying and is ready in minutes.
Directions: Set your air fryer to the “air fry” setting 400°F (200°C). Preheat for about 5 minutes. Pour your bag of frozen brussel sprouts into your air fryer. Arrange brussel sprouts in a single layer on your air fryer rack (or basket). Give your sprouts enough space for roasting. Spray generously with olive oil until well-coated. Cook for about 10-14 minutes at 400°F (or per your manufacturer’s air frying instructions). Use silicon tongs to turn about halfway through cook time. Serves 2.
NOTE: Check about halfway thru cooking time for your desired tenderness and color. I took my brussel sprouts out about 3 minutes early, instead of the full 14 minutes (you’ll see that in our YouTube video).
Crispy Cooking Tips:
Don’t over pack your air fryer, your sprouts need plenty of space for the air to circulate for roasting. Cook in 2 or more batches.
To reheat leftovers, set your air fryer to Recrisp and cook for about 3 -5 minutes.
Note: Some say do not use aerosol cooking sprays in the air fryer basket, as it may cause damage to the coating.
