This recipe is a family favorite for all winter holiday dinners. The table isn’t set without this traditional easy baked sweet potato side dish.
Ingredients: 4 to 5 Medium Sweet Potatoes 1 Stick of Unsalted Butter, cut in to cubes 3 Tablespoons & 1 Teaspoon Light Brown Sugar 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar 2 Teaspoons of Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon of Nutmeg 1/8 Teaspoon of Sea Salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Rinse and pat dry sweet potatoes. Peel and slice sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch slices. Butter your baking dish. Place in slices into your buttered baking dish or pan. Be sure not to over crowd your baking dish. Cut your stick of unsalted butter into cubes. Mix light brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt. Generously, sprinkle each sweet potato slice with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt mixture. Top with room temperature butter cubes. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes or until fork tender. Remove from oven and leave to rest for about 10 minutes. Serves 3 to 4. Enjoy!
