Spray Paint Wine Bottle

Instructions:
Find a well-ventilated area. Prepare your workspace by using painters tape to secure your craft paper, laying drop cloth or cardboard to catch any paint.

Remove labels. Try soaking in hot water and soap , soak in vinegar, or try an adhesive remover. Make sure your wine bottles are clean and dry. Residue can affect the paint.

Shake your spray paint for a few minutes, or per manufacturer’s instructions. Hold about 8-12 inches away from the wine bottle (admittedly, sometimes I did get closer). Apply light and even coats, turning your bottle as you spray paint. Give each layer around 15 minutes to dry before adding another coat.

When you have your desired color, let your bottles dry. Apply a clear sealant to protect and for durability.

Use different color combinations.
Try applying layers for an ombre effect.
Include lights to give your wine bottle glow.
Use painter’s tap for striped or patterned designs.
Be sure to allow each cost to fully dry for the best results.
