Let's start with a container for your goodies, wood, plastic, or paper. There are some with very clever and eco-friendly reusable baskets. A storage caddie works, think repurpose for beach and picnic outings. Turn an inexpensive bucket or container into a basket with a few decorations. Fill a cute tote. Try an online diy woven paper or printable paper basket. Plastic berry baskets are too cute and it doesn't take much to fill them (love this budget friendly option) . One year, I tried the jumbo plastic egg, which I filled with candy, stickers, and other small treats.

Hard bolied, dyed eggs are an easter tradition, and are a must have for any homemade easter bakset or easter decor. White eggs or brown eggs can both produce some beautiful colors when dyed. Note: Some suggest not leaving out hard boiled eggs for longer than 2 hours or less in high temperature weather. That may seem like a challenge when hosting, but just bring the eggs out of the refrigerator with that timing in mind.
