Hibiscus Iced Tea

This delicious, refreshing tea it is rich in antioxidants and some studies have shown that it may have health benefits like helping to lower blood pressure and LDLs.

Ingredients:
6 1/2 Cups of Water
3 Tablespoons loose Hibiscus Leaves (or 7 Tea Bags)
1 Lime (about 2 Tablespoons)
1/2 Cup Honey (or 1/3 Cup of Sugar)
1/4 Teaspoons Cinnamon (optional)

Bring water to a rapid boil in a medium pan. Add tea leaves or tea bags (remember to remove strings and tags). Let boil for about  a minute. Remove from heat. Stir in honey and the juice of 1 lime. Let sit for about 40 to 45 minutes. Strain tea into a pitcher or container, remember may still be a bit warm. Stir in cinnamon, this is optional, adds a little more flavor to to your tea. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight. Serve with a few slices of lime or a few lime segments. Makes about 5 to 6 cups.
