Want better bacon, try oven baked bacon. It’s healthier. No high heat, extra oil, or risk of over cooking. No standing over a hot stove, no splatter screen, or greasy stove top to clean. Bake your bacon and satisfy your savory craving.

Oven Baked Bacon

Ingredients:

1 Package of Bacon

Preheat your oven to 375. Line your rimmed baking sheet with parchment or aluminum foil. I usually lined with both for easy clean up. Line up your bacon slices one next to the other. Don’t worry the slices will shrink while cooking. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes. If I have thick bacon slices I’ll cook for 20 minutes. Then flip over your bacon slices and rotate your baking sheet. Cook for a remaining 10 minutes or longer, depending on how well done you prefer your bacon. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Enjoy!

For a sweet twist try this bacon recipe.

Sprinkle bacon slices with brown sugar (or light brown sugar) and cook for about 25 minutes, depending on how well done you prefer your bacon. No flipping required.
Note: avoid draining on paper towels.
