Ingredients: 4 cups Pomegranate Juice 2/3 cup Granulated Sugar 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice (optional)
Add ingredients to a sauce pan, stir until sugar has dissolved, and bring to a boil over a medium-high heat. When juice starts to boil, reduce the heat to medium-low (or to low). You should see the sauce should lighty bubble in middle or sides of the pot. Let simmer, uncovered for about 45 minutes, stirring often to avoid sauce sticking. Check for your desired consistency by seeing if sauce coats the back of a spoon. If not, reduce to low and cook for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. When the sauce is just at your preferred consistency remove from heat and allow to cool for about 25 to 30 minutes. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
