Spring Equinox (or vernal equinox) is the beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere (fall in the Southern Hemisphere). The sun crosses the equator and day and night are equally long everywhere on earth. Did you know that equinox comes from aequus, Latin for “equal,” and nox, Latin for “night”. And in some cultures it is celebrated as the new-year.
Spring is a great for new beginnings.
