Let’s start by arranging your patio layout. Try to avoid filling your patio with lots of furniture, choose a few key pieces without overcrowding your space. Make sure to create a clear path for walkways. Leave enough space for your guests to move around. Also, keep in mind the space needed to open your door. Sounds simple, but once a ordered an outdoor storage box that was too big for the space and blocked part of the door. Not fun when you have a tray full of drinks in one hand and try to get through the door with the other hand.
Outdoor Rugs
An outdoor rug can help enhance your seating or dining area and tie the whole look together. Choose a durable, weatherproof option that adds texture to your patio. Go with neutrals or bold colors, select something that complements your patio set and umbrella.
Patio Seating
A Bistro set with folding chairs is perfect for a small patio. They don’t make your patio feel cramped. You can fold up the chairs when your are not using them, especially handy when you need patio space. They are avail in wood or metal. I just love the look of wood.
Outdoor Umbrella & Base
Go bold with a colorful outdoor umbrella. Try a 5 foot or 6 foot umbrella. Make sure your umbrella base is appropriate for the size of your umbrella, the base description details should recommend the best size of umbrella. So helpful for providing shade during the hot summer days. Remember you still need to protect your skin and eyes!
Greenery
Flowers and plants can breathe life into any patio. Potted plants with vibrant leaves or blooming flowers are fantastic. Or you can use artificial plants and flowers, there are so many varieties. Hydrangeas are always great for summer. Give hanging plants a try. Plants can add a serene, calming vibe to your space.
DIY Décor
