Jokes have been around forever. The oldest known book of jokes found in the world is the Philogelos (also known as Laughter-Lover) written in the 4th century by Greeks Philagrius and Hierocles. Today we have comedies, comedians, and memes.
Many believe laughing can result in many health benefits both physical and mental. It can increase oxygen circulation and blood flow, stimulate the heart, lungs and help with muscle relaxation. Laughter can also improve your immune system by releasing stress fighting chemicals and help lessen depression and anxiety. It also releases feel good neurotransmitters, endorphins.
So tell a joke. Remember timing is everything. Watch a comedian. Or watch a comedy. Whichever you choose say or do something to incite laughter.
Laughter is key.
